I saw this bracelet on the blog I Spy DIY and simply had to try to make it myself. It was unbelievably easy and only took me about five minutes to make. I bought all my supplies at AC Moore and have actually used the leftover supplies for other bracelets which I'll share later.
Here are all the supplies I needed. |
On I Spy DIY she used a gold and silver chain to make the bracelet but they didn't have a silver one that looked nice enough. It was a bit cheap looking so I opted for a black one instead. The important thing to remember when making this bracelet is to use the same chain type and size. If you don't then it will be difficult to get the rhinestone chain to match up on both sides. Other than that, as long as you follow the instructions you will have a gorgeous new addition to your jewelry collection!
Start out by tying the two chains together and loop the suede through the first links. |
Hold the rhinestone chain in place while you loop the suede around it and through the links. |
Continue wrapping the suede around the rhinestone chain while looping it through the chains and this will be your final product! |
The finished product! |
This is now one of my favorite bracelets! I wear it all the time and someone told me that there was a similar looking one for sale at Forever 21 so when I told them I made it myself, they were quite surprised. It's one of the easiest bracelets that I've made so far. If you're looking for a quick and easy one to make then I would highly recommend this one. I wish that I had made this one before I attempted the Hex Nut one because that one was a lot more complicated. Lovin' my new hobby!!!
Done any good do it yourself projects lately? Let me know!!!
