Hello fellow workout beauties! Hope that you've been reading my past few posts during this month of October, so you know how I like to stay fit. For this week, I'll be sharing a few exercises I enjoy doing!
Just over the past few weeks, I've learned over 30 different types of exercises!
-I use dumbbells, workout machines, a Bosu, and an exercise ball for my workouts

-The weight I use for dumbbells varies on how strong each muscle is
-I do 8-12 reps, 3 sets per exercise
-I'm sure not to lift weights two days in a row! It's good to let those muscles rest.
-Also in order to rest my muscles,each exercise I try not to work the same muscles in a row
EX) legs, arms, abs
Just grab dumbbells for one of the exercises I'd like to show you. The others, you can do right on the floor!
#1.) Squats (hamstrings, quads, and your butt!) : Bend your knees, lower your body, and be sure to stick out that butt while crouched over. Stand up again, and repeat! You can add light weights by holding them to your sides.
Using a Bosu: You step onto the bosu by placing your feet on the outter edge, shoulder width apart, and facing forward. This involves using a lot of balance! I enjoy doing this at the gym!

2.) Crunches : Keep your head off the floor, and put your hands on the sides of your head. Lift your head off the floor using your ab muscles. Keep your head up so that you can almost fit an apple under your chin. Be sure to breathe, and squeeze in those abs, and crunch!
With an exercise ball: Sit on the ball, with both feet touching the floor. Carefully walk your feet away from the ball, and let the ball sit on your back. Repeat above, but add in that extra 45 degree angle for a better crunch!
3.) Biceps Curl (Biceps): Stand up, and place a weight in each one of your hands, holding them to each side of your body. Raise each dumbbell until they reach about where your shoulder meets, then slowly raise them back down to your sides.
