Sorry for delaying the DIY project I was talking about...again....but the weather here has not been ideal for spray painting which I need to do so I may have to push it off until Spring (wahhh!). Onto a much happier subject, a few weeks ago my friend, Kristin, told me about this store called Charming Charlie. She knows how much I love my accessories and said that I would love this place. Today I got to see why.
We ventured down to Foxborough, MA and made our way to Patriot Place. For those of you who don't know, Patriot Place is right outside of Gillette Stadium where our beloved New England Patriots play. Patriot Place is pretty much an outdoor center that has a variety of shops and restaurants. There's a Victoria's Secret, Express, Old Navy, Five Guys, Toby Keith's Bar, and so much more.
You can't go to Patriot Place without visiting the Pro Shop so we made that our first stop. I picked up a shirt for myself and a conference champs hat for my Dad (in case you live under a rock...THE PATS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!) After that we decided to break for lunch so that we would have plenty of energy for Charming Charlie. I was very happy that we did because we spent most of our day in here.
The store was categorized by color. There were so many options to choose from!

We tried to stick to the huge clearance section they had because we knew we were going to be doing some serious damage. The good thing about this store was that even the non-clearance items were reasonably priced. When the girl ringing us up asked where we were from, she told us that there was talk that a Charming Charlie might be built in Burlington which is much closer to us than Foxborough. If this is true then I am in serious trouble!
All of my purchases! |
Here's a close-up of the two necklaces that I bought. I had to use some will power otherwise I may have bought everything in the store.
Rings are my absolute favorite thing. I love huge, funky rings. Again, it took a lot to leave with only five rings. If you love jewelry check out Charming Charlie! They have great stuff at great prices.
I also highly recommend visiting Patriot Place as a day trip. There were so many stores and restaurants that you could spend the day walking around. While we were there I noticed that they had an ice rink set up. It seemed like they try to give you as many options as they can for different activities to do while you're there. There's even a hotel right next to all the shops so you could even make a weekend out of it if you were going to a Patriot's game or a concert at Gillette Stadium.
What's the one accessory you can't leave the house without? Let me know!!!
