Fierce Style

Sorry for the late post bloggers! It's been one busyyy day! Anywhosers, on to today's post! During the big Christian Siriano craze with everything being
“fierce”, Christian came out with a book called Fierce Style: How to be Your
Most Fabulous Self. Fitting right? As you may have guessed by now I have a mini
obsession with books about or written by anything fashion. So naturally I had to
read it. I literally felt like I was listening to him lecture me in all of his
ideas and knowledge in how to create my own style; which is the first section
of the book. Of course every fashion book has their lists of what not to do
(and thankfully the majority agrees on main things—sorry but Uggs and Old Navy
flip-flops are out if you want to be taken seriously in fashion). And his book
is no different. Christian goes on to help the reader figure out how and where
to shop, but of course the suggestions are not the only options. He talks about
high and low fashions and makes sure to talk about stores that are all over the
country for those of us not located in a fashion capital.

The second part of the book goes a little deeper than just
fashion. He explains how important it is to own your own style, and always wear
with confidence! Look for inspirations from celebrities and even from people in
your own life. I don’t want to give away the whole book, but it’s truly a great
read! Along with great suggestions and tips from Christian he also pulls all
celebrities he knows for their tips. And my favorite part: all of his personal
stories about his style journey. Even the fiercest of us all take interesting
paths to take to greatness (he did grow up in the 90s after all).
