Halloween DIY
Happy Friday readers! So while browsing the wonderful world on Pinterest, I found
some really cute and totally do-able crafty things. I am beyond excited to
share this one with you. I found this one under the holiday section and was
curious if it really is as easy as it looked. Let me tell you…IT WAS!

My first task: get the supplies. Since money is really tight
right now, I wanted to find the best items at the best price. So I started at
the Dollar Tree, where I found these tall red, unscented candles. Win. Then I
went over to the Christmas Tree Shop and found these white, unscented candles
for $1.99. Then, just before making this creepy creation, I realized I needed
something to put it on! Quick stop to Wal-Mart where I found these clear and
very versatile candle plates for $1, and I was ready to go.
I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect so I prepared by
putting paper towel under the white candle. Then I lit the red candle, held it
over the edge of the white candle and voila! Literally that was it. I think each one took me about 15 minutes because I did the first layer of red then went back over to make it a little darker. Check it out!
Happy Halloween!
