Tuesdays with Jenbiff
Let’s be serious, while watching President Obama be sworn in
for the second time is really monumental, how many of us really watched to see
what the first family (in particular Mrs. O) was wearing? I purposely looked up
and watched the inaugural address on ABC to see it all. And let me say in true
first family fashion, they all looked stunning.

Michelle went with a Thom Brown dress and jacket with J.
Crew shoes. Something about the structure and design of the jacket made it that
much more fabulous. And can we take a moment to talk about her new hair cut? I
don’t want to make such a big claim, but I’ve been there since the beginning
with the bang trend. And all I’ve got to tell Mrs. O about it is: welcome to
the club!

Malia, 14, wore J. Crew and Sasha, 11, wore Kate Spade. Both
girls wore a few shades of purple, which just so happens to be my favorite
color, so naturally from that fact alone I loved it.

Now all the fashion sites of the world are def focusing on
Michelle’s outfit, but it was the President’s day! So we can’t skip him,
especially since he looked so dashing (yea, I just used “dashing”…enjoy that).
According to WWD Mr. President was “wearing the same Brooks Bros. cashmere coat
he wore four years” ago. So glad to know that even the President re-wears things.
Way to go Mr. Pres, way to go. And congrats on the beginning of your second
term!
