When I studied abroad in London in spring 2010, I was blown away by the styles I saw everywhere. Whether it was out shopping, people watching, or even meeting other students from the U.S., I was constantly getting different ideas of what was trendy and how to incorporate it into my own wardrobe. Even though London has some of the same stores that we have here in the states, I think the prints and silhouettes vary greatly. While I was there, I was really into bold, quirky prints, colorful patterned tights, and I couldn't leave the country without getting a pair of motorcycle boots. To say the least, I feel like my style changed while I was there and when I got back to the states. I definitely took a lot of the street fashion I saw in London and the other countries I visited, and found a way to style it to fit into my own look. I think this dress has that fun print that I was looking for without being too over the top.
The polka dot bow makes a statement against the dominant print. |
I've had these boots for almost 4 years and I love how worn in they look now :) |
I also love this awesome tote with a funky reptile print. The lining on the inside is orange! |
