Thirsty Thursday's With Vicki

Funny Face Part 2

So last week, I promised you guys that I would finish my post about some of my fave make-up products that I have bought at Sephora over the past few years! I told you how I get my "everyday face", and today I'll show you how I go from a day to night look with just a few make-up applications.

Tonight I attended in Springfield, MA "Culture & Cocktails Indulgence: An Evening of Wine & Chocolate," at the Michele & Donald D'Amour Museum of Fine Arts in Springfield, MA. The event was only $5 to attend! We received 6 tickets for the wine tasting, a chocolate tasting with a choice of white, milk chocolate, or dark, and then we also could munch on some apps. The wine tasting was hosted by Table & Vine, and chocolate tastings by Chocolate Works in Longmeadow, MA. While enjoying our wine we could look at art pieces from Monet, Chardin, Pissaro, and many other famous artists.

I couldn't believe how crazy the event was tonight! It was so hard to move around but it was nice to meet people, and catch up with my fam. My mom and I went and we met up with my cousin Becca and my Aunt Nancy. Also, at the end of the event a photographer came up to us and asked for our names! Found out we may be in the local newspaper!

Here's how I wore my make-up tonight for the event:

This is my face Pre-Going Out Look! Remember I just added
Face Primer, Blemish Concealer, Eye Concealer, and Eye Shadow Potion!

Two Faced Naked Eye: Soft & Sexy Eyeshadow Collection ($36)
This Two Faced Naked Eye is the eye shadow application I use on
a daily basis. I absolutely love it! I can use it for my day look & night!
(Up to 1 year!!! This is still my first one and I've had it for a year!
It's important not to hold onto make-up too long though because
it will create bacteria that is not good for your skin)

Eye Shadows Include:
Base: The Buff, Birthday Suit, and Pink Cheeks
Eyeshadows: Pillow Talk, Like A Virgin, Satin Sheets,
Unmentionables,Lap Dance & Stilletto
Talk about some sexy but fun names for eye make-up!

Double Ended Everyday Eye Brush ($18)
To get the look I wanted I used this two-ended brush from Sephora.
This allows you to apply eye shadow all over the lid and blend!
(Can last a life-time! Just take care of those brushes!)

What's fun about the Two Faced Eye Shadow Collections?
It's that it gives you three different cards with how to create the perfect
look just for you! One side of the card is in English & the other French!
The Look I have on is the Fashion:
1.) Sweet The Pink Cheeks from crease to brow
2.) Blend Lap Dance into crease and onto lid
3.)Apply Stiletto to upper eye lash line and extend
outward, then blend into lower lash line

24/7 Urban Decay Liquid Waterproof Eye Liner ($19)
I swear by this eye-liner!!! It gives you the ability to create a thick or thin line of your choice!
(Can last to about 6 months!)

Clinique High Lengths Mascara ($15)
Want that big bold look? This will make your eye look larger & energized!
Be sure to first brush down your top eye lash then down. Don't forget the bottoms!
(Can last up 6 months!)

Bare Minerals Matte Foundation ($28)
The creamy materials in this foundation are supposed to improve your
skin overtime! It looks like a powder but feels smooth! It's natural
and free of preservatives, chemicals & much more.
Use that two ended foundation brush I told you about, and smooth all over your face!
Start from your nose and move outwards, to your forehead, down to your chin.
(Can last up to a year!)

You don't need much at al1! And Don't forget your Blush & Bronzer :)

So remember these  handy tools, and make-up applications because you never know when you'll be in a make-up frenzy.
You could have a big weekend planned with no make-up to wear!
So stop at Sephora, and get your basic make-up needs. If you're going to a big Superbowl Party this weekend you'll need to look good!!!
Go Pats!!!
