Clash of Kings
This is the second book in the Song of Ice and Fire series and is what the second season of Game of Thrones is based off of. I love how the first season stuck so closely to the book and was ever so slightly disappointed with the adaptation of this book. The show took small less important details and exaggerated them a bit while leaving other parts that I would have enjoyed seeing out. Overall I still LOVE the show and can't wait to see what next season has in store...which is why I will be reading Storm of Swords ASAP!
Picture of Dorian Gray
I read this book in high school for a project and actually really enjoyed it. Classic horror stories are some of my favorite things to read so when a new version of the movie came out I had to see how it was. Ben Barnes wasn't exactly who I pictured Dorian to be, he seemed too innocent for me, but his portrayal was actually well done. He did a god job of pulling off his innocence at the beginning and showing how his narcissism took over and became more important than anything else.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower
A friend of mine gave me this book a few years ago to read and I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it after reading the back cover but it turned out to be one of my favorite books. I liked how it was from the point of view of an underdog without being so cliche. When it comes to the casting for this movie I absolutely can't wait to see how they portray everyone. It'll be nice to see Emma Watson as someone other than Hermione and I love Logan Lerman so I'm excited to see him.
What books are you excited to see come to life? Let me know!!!
