Wacky Wednesday's with Jenbiff

Crafty, Crafty.

After reading about all the cool things that KM has been making I totally caught the DIY bug and wanted to make some pretty cool things too. Thankfully for me, my sister, Amy and cousin, Michelle both love doing crafts and are always coming up with new things to make. This was also about the time that my sister was redecorating our room, so the things we made work with the new color scheme we have and help make our room even more all about us.

Initial Buttons
The first thing we all made was a picture frame with the letter of our first names. Sounds kinda weird when I write it out like that, but we all bought pretty paper and glued buttons in the shape of the first letter of our first names. It's real simple and really doesn't need explanation on how to do it. But the steps are:

1. Buy, design, or copy the paper you want for your background
2. Choose a frame
3. Cut the paper to fit just about the size of the frame
4. Lay out the buttons in the shape of your letter, then once you like they way look, pick one up at a time and glue it down
4. Wait for the buttons to dry, then put the paper in the frame, close it up and hang it or put it on a table!

As you can tell it was really simple and it a cute way to play with buttons! Of course you don't have to buy some like I did. If you have extra buttons laying around from old clothes that you don't even know if you own anymore, those work too. It really doesn't even take that long!

Have you made anything cool recently?

Quote of the Week: "My love's like a star, yeah
You can't always see me
But you know that I'm always there
When you see one shining
Take it as mine and remember I'm always near"
Last Weeks Answer: Marley and Me
