Back To The Bean

Little Miss Audrey went on two roadtrips with me this week to Boston, MA. One was this past Wednesday, when I attended a Lasell Alumni Networking Event, and the second was for J Boo’s bday celebrations at Bell in Hand Tavern in Fanuel Hall.

On Wednesday, for the Lasell Alumni Networking Event, I met up with Jen Boo and 21 other panelists at our school’s Campus Center. We spoke to a group of over 100 students and faculty members about what we do for a living, how we got our job, what our job entails, and advice for seniors that are searching for jobs.

While at the Networking Event, Jen and I had an opportunity to see some of our favorite staff members! Sallyann Kakas, Professor Bath, and Professor Leader! After getting hugs, and catching up with all of them it was so difficult to actually get back in our cars, and head home that night. Boy do I miss the Bean!!!

But, then just three days later I was back to the Bean to celebrate Jen Boo’s 23^rd Birthday!!! For her birthday we went out to Bell in Hand Tavern right down in Fanuel Hall.

And of course KM and her friend Kristin joined us as well! We’ve decided Bell in Hand is now one of our new fave places to go dancing in Boston. They have two floors, with the upstairs having a DJ, big screen televisions, and multiple bars. It was an interesting night out considering every so often a song by Whitney Houston would come on. The girls and I enjoyed paying our respects to Whitney by singing "I Will Always Love You."

When I was there I even ran into one of our customers from the boutique I work at! I noticed that she was wearing this gorgeous form fitting long sleeve knit dress by the brand Torn. I ran up to her telling her how hot she looked in the dress, and that we sold it at the boutique I worked at back home. When she told me she bought it at Caren & Co., I realized that I had met her before at the store. What a small world! You never know who you’ll run into in Boston!
