Kate Visits Boston

Back in February I wrote a post about my trip to New York City where I visited my beloved New Yorker, Kate. Just this past weekend, Kate came and visited me in Boston for the weekend.

Since the weather was pretty crummy, we tried to stay inside throughout the day on Saturday. We first started off Saturday by going shopping at Prudential & Copley.

Later that night, we went to a Spanish Tapas Bar in Brighton, MA. This was the second Spanish Tapas bar that I've gone to over the past few months. The last Spanish Tapas bar I went to was in NYC with Kate back in February. This Spanish Tapas bar in Brighton is called "Tasca Tapas". This amazing Spanish tapas bar has been rated one of Boston's best Independent Restaurant's!

I would definitely give this restaurant a great review. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the sangria's were amazing! There were quite a few entrees to chose from the menu. Kate and I did agree though that even though the food was quite delicious there wasn't anything that absolutely "wowed" us. I would definitely go back there again though in the future.

There was a group of six of us that went out to dinner, and we each choose two entrees and just split the entrees amongst the group. We also got two pitchers of sangria. In totally we each paid about $20 for 2 glasses of sangria and for our food. Not too bad I must say!!!

We ended the night by going to Joshua Tree in Allston, MA for a few drinks.

Kate and I were in heaven because drinks were only $3 for beer, as well as gin & tonics. The bar also had a live DJ, a dance floor downstairs, and basketball hoop games. We became a little addicted to the basketball hoops after awhile!
