Travel Tuesdays With KM

Fall Must Go and Sees!!!

New England is the best place in the Fall for foliage (don't even try and argue with me, I worked at AAA and it is a fact).  There is so much to see and do this season so I thought since the girls are doing their must have Fall clothes, I'd do my favorite things for the Fall!

The number one thing I look forward to in the Fall is going to the apple orchards or farms but it's not the apple's that I go for.  My mom and I CRAVE the cinnamon donuts that they serve at many local orchard's.  Usually we go to Smolak Farms in North Andover.  It's close and allows us to get our donuts whenever we please!  Don't get me wrong, apple picking is a great activity and is definitely on my list of Fall musts, but they are not as high up as the donuts.
My mouth is watery as I type
Like I said, here in New England we get to enjoy the gorgeous colors that the Fall brings to the trees.  I'm no leafer, but a simple drive up the highway can lead to some great photo ops!

My favorite holiday also happens to be during this lovely season...HALLOWEEN!!!  It's a tradition for my dad and me to carve pumpkins together.  We've gotten more elaborate with our designs since the creation of the fun templates that you can buy at places such as CVS.  Dressing up is also fun but it's the decorations that make my love Halloween.  I go nuts and put fake spiderwebs on our bushes and skeletons in the yard.  I love when people go all out on decorations for different holidays.
Loved this template because it reminds me of my favorite
movie...THE GOONIES <3
One thing that I'm doing this Fall that I've never done before, and am wicked excited about, is the Big E out in Springfield.  If you haven't heard of it, the Big E is essentially a huge fair where there's different crafts, entertainment, and lots of food (my description I don't think does it justice but once I've been I'll be able to give a better description).  Luckily some of the girls (aka Vicki and Jen Biff) live out in Western, MA and have been nice enough to invite us out there way to go!  Needless to say it will be crazy shenan's and I can't wait to post about my experience after I've been.  Look for that post some time in October!

So if you find yourself looking for someplace to go where Fall is at it's finest, come on up to New England!  During this time farms are preparing hayrides, apple picking, haunted houses, corn mazes, and so much more.  There's no need to be bored and think you have nothing to do and nowhere to go.  You can always make the best out of the season if you simply try!

What's you're favorite thing to do in the Fall?  Let me know!
