Today I want to talk about some new movies that have just come into theaters. There are always a ton of new releases during the holidays, so I'll just tell you about a few that I'm really excited about seeing.
-I just saw Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows today and it was brilliant! Much better than the first with a ton of laughs and mystique. RDJ aka Robert Downing Jr. and Jude Law are hilarious and extremely talented. The script was creative and kept me guessing til the very end. It premiered today so don't worry if you haven't seen it yet-it's definitely worth the $10 in my opinion. There was loads of action scenes, great acting, a lot of laughs (again), and a touch of romance.
-Although it hasn't gotten great reviews I still want to see Gary Marshall's new film New Years Eve. I know it's going to be full of fluffiness but I love movies that give you that mushy-gushy-make-you-warm-inside feeling. The cast looks great and I can't wait to see how all of their story lines come together.
-Even though The Dark Knight Rises may not come out until next year (which is right around the corner!) after seeing the trailer today, I am dying to see it! I was a bit sceptical of it being set 8 years later but so far so good folks. As always there's tons of action packed scenes and some awkward ones with Batman (Christian Bale) and Cat Woman (Anne Hathaway) doing the tango. And don't worry ladies because Bale is hotter than ever!
-And finally if you're looking for a good hard chuckle and giggle go see Sasha Baron Cohen's latest movie, The Dictator, to be released Spring/Summer 2012. Words cannot even describe how hard my cousins and I laughed when we saw the trailer. Therefore I feel compelled to share it with you all too! Enjoy!
